Hands Up All Those Who Want The Locks Of A Hair Model

Hot Oil Massage

This one is the number one spot because… well, who doesn’t love a massage? Coconut, avocado and jojoba oils were recommended so we tried all three. Here’s how it worked: Before a shower (or a day before you are due for a blowout) melt organic coconut oil to room temperature. Pour some oil into the palms of your hand and start applying at the root. Be generous! Once you’ve applied enough to your scalp and root for your hair to feel sufficiently wet, begin at the nape of your neck and start massaging in small circles until you get to your forehead and temples, then go back the other way. Once you feel relaxed and like you’ve stimulated your follicles, brush through and add some more oil your ends and tie your hair in a loose bun at the top of your head. Leave it for as long as you can. We slept with ours!Virgin Coconut Oil from Trader Joes was the group favorite.
