Delete your account

You can delete your Treat.Me account at any time, from the app or by email. Deletion is permanent.

In the Treat.Me app

  1. Open the Account tab.
  2. Choose Delete account.
  3. Confirm. You are signed out on every device straight away.

Any treat still in progress is cancelled when you delete, and the cancellation terms you agreed to for it still apply.

Without the app

Email support@treat.me from the address or phone number on your account with the subject Delete my Treat.Me account. We verify it is you, then delete the account the same way the app does and confirm by reply.

Merchants close their venue account from the Treat.Me merchant dashboard under Account; a venue with an outstanding balance settles it first.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted

  • Your profile: name, photos, verification photo, prompts and attributes.
  • Your phone number, email address and sign-in identity.
  • Your saved payment methods with our payment processor.
  • Your conversations, bookmarks and location.

Kept

  • Records of completed orders, payments and refunds, with your name replaced, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Safety reports and enforcement records, so a removed account stays removed.
